Zimperium supports MaaS360 UEM
Zimperium has integrated Maas360 into zConsole, the administrative console that supports our award-winning mobile threat defense (MTD) solution, zIPS. With “Zimperium for MaaS360”, MaaS360 owners can now detect mobile risks and threats with Zimperium, and then set compliance and remediation policies via MaaS360. Zimperium for MaaS360 is available for download in the IBM Security App Exchange.
Utilizing zConsole’s granular and flexible group-based policy management capabilities, MaaS360 administrators can synchronize users, groups and devices. This means they don’t have to create user credentials or engage in user lifecycle management within zConsole. They can handle all user management functions right from the UEM console.
The initial user synchronization takes place during the integration setup. After that, users are managed via a process that runs at set intervals. zConsole can also perform ad hoc synchronization for cases where a user has zIPS pushed to their device and tries to start it before the MDM’s scheduled sync time.
