The 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recently announced Zimperium as the Gold Winner for Mobile Application Security for our zIAP solution, and Silver Winner in the Mobile Security category, for zPlatform. This is the fourth year in a row Zimperium has won one or more Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
zIAP is the only enterprise-grade software development kit (SDK) available to protect applications from attacks and the resulting fraud. zIAP has been deployed via an enterprise organization’s mobile app to over 25 million devices. In 2018 alone, we identified over 150 million threats on these devices.
zIAP is one of our solutions, which are collectively known as the zPlatform. The zPlatform allow customers to detect and prevent more mobile threats, with the least amount of organizational friction, than any alternative. Our on-device, machine learning-based detection of mobile threats and enterprise-class capabilities are unmatched.
Over the last 5 years, Zimperium’s machine learning-based engine, z9, has detected 100 percent of zero-day mobile exploits without requiring an update. In addition to its proven efficacy against zero-day device and network attacks, z9 is the only machine learning-based engine capable of detecting previously unknown mobile malware on-device without requiring updates and without the risks of cloud-based lookups.
The 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards honor individuals, products and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security. The winners were determined based on the strength of each nomination and the popular vote by members of the Information Security Community.
“We are tackling the critical mobile endpoint security gap today’s enterprise organizations and government agencies are facing as employees conduct business on or through their own or company/government provided mobile devices,” said Michael Callahan, CMO of Zimperium. “This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team who’ve created an award-winning, disruptive and patented machine learning-based engine, z9, to protect mobile data, apps and sessions against device compromises, network attacks, phishing attempts and malicious apps.”
